How it works

Complete the job in three clear steps

  1. Choose one PDF and numbering options from your device.
  2. Set the page and output options, then create a numbered PDF.
  3. Inspect the downloaded result before replacing or deleting the original document.

Important

Check the result before relying on it

Keep an untouched copy of important source files. Browser processing depends on available device memory, and you should inspect every downloaded result before deleting the original.

Practical details

What this Lucaden tool does

Numbers are drawn with an embedded standard font at the top or bottom and aligned left, center, or right. You can begin at a custom number and limit numbering to selected pages.

The document stays in browser memory during processing. Lucaden creates a new output file and never modifies the source on your device.

Questions

About this tool

Does numbering change existing page labels?

It draws visible numbers; it does not rewrite logical page-label metadata.

Can the first page be skipped?

Yes. Select pages beginning at page 2 and choose the desired starting number.
