How it works

Complete the job in three clear steps

  1. Choose a media file from this device.
  2. Run the local MediaInfo inspection and review the detected streams.
  3. Copy or download the JSON report before closing the page.

Important

Check the result before relying on it

Keep an untouched copy of important source files. Browser processing depends on available device memory, and you should inspect every downloaded result before deleting the original.

Practical details

What this Lucaden tool does

The audio-focused view separates technical stream properties from container tags such as title, album, performer, genre, date, and encoder when they exist.

The same local analyzer powers each focused route, while the workspace highlights the fields relevant to that task.

Included capabilities

  • Codec and compression mode
  • Channels and sample rate
  • Bit depth and bitrate
  • Common title and album tags

Useful for

  • Check a master recording
  • Verify podcast exports
  • Inspect an audio archive
  • Compare encoding settings

Questions

About this tool

Does this edit ID3 or other tags?

No. It is a read-only inspector and does not change the selected file.

Why are some tag fields blank?

The source may not contain those optional fields, or they may use a structure the analyzer does not expose.

Open-source foundations
