Start with the payment journey

For wholesalers, a good FPS setup starts with reducing confusion. The customer should see the business name, amount, FPS receiving detail, reference number, and expected recipient name in one place. This is easier to manage through a payment page than through scattered screenshots or repeated chat messages.

Lucaden creates an independent FPS payment page, FPS payment link, and URL QR. The customer still pays directly to the business owner's FPS-linked account, Lucaden charges 0% transaction fee, and the free core payment page features are intended to stay free forever.

Check FPS settings before sharing

Before sharing a link, confirm the receiving setup inside the business bank or wallet. Common FPS routes can include mobile number, email, FPS ID, or QR code where supported by the provider. The exact FPS configuration and settings should come from the participating institution, not guesswork.

The payment page should show clear payer instructions and a short safety reminder. Customers should verify the recipient name and payment details before confirmation in their own app. Lucaden does not process, hold, settle, refund, or confirm receipt.

Use links and QR codes consistently

A payment profile URL can be used on invoices, WhatsApp, websites, quotations, social profiles, and printed cards. For wholesalers, request links can include context such as deposit, booking date, invoice number, order ID, customer name, or balance payment.

A URL QR gives customers a page to read before they pay, instead of only a raw identifier. Pro users may add branded QR output, templates, and bulk links, but the transfer still happens directly from customer to merchant through FPS.

Make reconciliation easier

The reference number should be short, unique, and repeated across invoice, chat message, and payment link. Use patterns staff can understand, such as invoice number, order ID, student name, branch initials, or booking date. Consistent references reduce manual matching work.

For higher volume, track amount, currency, customer, purpose, reference, request status, and internal notes. CSV exports can help bookkeepers reconcile, but actual receipt should always be checked in the bank or wallet account before releasing goods or confirming service.

Keep customer safety visible

FPS is designed for fast payment, so the payer should slow down long enough to check the recipient name, amount, and details. This is especially important when the link arrives from chat, social media, invoice PDFs, or printed QR codes.

Lucaden is not an official FPS, HKMA, HKICL, or bank service. It is a presentation and workflow tool for clearer FPS collection. That boundary should be visible so merchants and customers understand who handles the money: their own participating bank or wallet.
