How it works

Complete the job in three clear steps

  1. Choose a media file from this device.
  2. Run the local MediaInfo inspection and review the detected streams.
  3. Copy or download the JSON report before closing the page.

Important

Check the result before relying on it

Keep an untouched copy of important source files. Browser processing depends on available device memory, and you should inspect every downloaded result before deleting the original.

Practical details

What this Lucaden tool does

The inspector lists subtitle-like Text tracks reported by MediaInfo. It detects stream metadata but does not claim to extract bitmap or encrypted caption payloads.

The same local analyzer powers each focused route, while the workspace highlights the fields relevant to that task.

Questions

About this tool

Can this extract the subtitle file?

No. It inventories detected tracks. Extraction depends on the container and subtitle codec and needs a separate demux workflow.

Why does a visible caption not appear?

The caption may be burned into video pixels, stored in an unsupported stream, or delivered separately rather than embedded.
