How it works
Important
Keep an untouched copy of important source files. Browser processing depends on available device memory, and you should inspect every downloaded result before deleting the original.
Practical details
ExcelJS reads the workbook locally and exposes every worksheet for selection. Cell values are serialized with CSV quoting so commas, quotes, and line breaks remain valid.
The transformation happens in browser memory and produces a new result without changing the source on your device.
Questions
ExcelJS reads stored formula results when present but does not run the complete Excel calculation engine.
No. CSV contains cell values only and cannot store colors, formulas, merged cells, or multiple worksheets.
Open-source foundations
Lucaden documents its standards sources, architectural references, and permissive runtime dependencies while keeping this workspace consistent with the Lucaden interface.
