How it works

Complete the job in three clear steps

  1. Choose a JPG or JPEG image.
  2. Create an uncompressed TIFF image in temporary browser memory.
  3. Review and download the new file.

Important

Check the result before relying on it

Keep an untouched copy of important source files. Browser processing depends on available device memory, and you should inspect every downloaded result before deleting the original.

Practical details

What this Lucaden tool does

The browser decodes the JPG and UTIF.js writes its rendered pixels into a TIFF container.

Changing containers cannot restore image detail already discarded by JPEG compression.

Questions

About this tool

Is my file uploaded?
