How it works
Important
Review generated output before using it in production. Formatters and converters can validate structure, but they cannot understand every application-specific rule or guarantee that transformed content has the intended meaning.
Practical details
The encoder emits two hexadecimal digits per UTF-8 byte. The decoder accepts spaces and common 0x notation, then validates that the cleaned input has complete byte pairs.
The transformation happens in browser memory and produces a new result without changing the source on your device.
Questions
No. This tool shows UTF-8 encoded bytes, which can differ from the character's Unicode code point.
No. Every byte requires exactly two hexadecimal digits.
Open-source foundations
Lucaden documents its standards sources, architectural references, and permissive runtime dependencies while keeping this workspace consistent with the Lucaden interface.
