How it works

Complete the job in three clear steps

  1. Add plain text or identifiers to the private browser workspace.
  2. Choose the available settings and create text in the selected case.
  3. Review the result, then copy or download it before leaving the page.

Important

Check the result before relying on it

Review generated output before using it in production. Formatters and converters can validate structure, but they cannot understand every application-specific rule or guarantee that transformed content has the intended meaning.

Practical details

What this Lucaden tool does

This case converter handles prose and developer naming conventions in the same focused workspace. Word boundaries are detected from spaces, punctuation, underscores, hyphens, and existing camel-case transitions before the new casing is applied.

Lucaden performs this task in the browser so the source stays under your control. The result is created only after you request it, and nothing is saved to a Lucaden account by this tool.

Included capabilities

  • Nine common text cases
  • Camel-case boundary detection
  • One-click copy and download
  • Unicode-safe upper and lower casing

Useful for

Questions

About this tool

What is the difference between camelCase and PascalCase?

camelCase begins with a lowercase word, while PascalCase capitalizes the first word as well.

Will punctuation be preserved?

Upper, lower, title, and sentence case preserve most punctuation. Identifier cases intentionally replace separators with the convention you choose.
