How it works

Complete the job in three clear steps

  1. Add supported source code or markup to the private browser workspace.
  2. Choose the available settings and create consistently formatted source.
  3. Review the result, then copy or download it before leaving the page.

Important

Check the result before relying on it

Review generated output before using it in production. Formatters and converters can validate structure, but they cannot understand every application-specific rule or guarantee that transformed content has the intended meaning.

Practical details

What this Lucaden tool does

The pinned Prettier standalone runtime loads only the selected language parser, then parses and deterministically reprints the source with configurable line width, indentation, quotes, and semicolons.

Lucaden performs this task in the browser so the source stays under your control. The result is created only after you request it, and nothing is saved to a Lucaden account by this tool.

Included capabilities

  • Eight parser-backed languages
  • Deterministic Prettier output
  • Indentation and line-width controls
  • Lazy local parser loading

Useful for

  • Read minified snippets
  • Normalize pasted code
  • Prepare examples for documentation
  • Shrink simple static assets

Questions

About this tool

Does this compile or lint the source?

No. Prettier parses and reprints supported syntax but does not type-check, lint, execute, or resolve imports.

Why can formatting fail?

Invalid or unsupported syntax is rejected with the parser's error so a malformed result is not presented as successful output.

Open-source foundations

Built transparently

Lucaden documents its standards sources, architectural references, and permissive runtime dependencies while keeping this workspace consistent with the Lucaden interface.
