How it works

Complete the job in three clear steps

  1. Add a password you can safely assess locally to the private browser workspace.
  2. Choose the available settings and create a pattern-aware guess-time report.
  3. Review the result, then copy or download it before leaving the page.

Important

Check the result before relying on it

Use these utilities for development, learning, and local checks. Do not treat a browser tool as a replacement for audited identity systems, password managers, production key management, or server-side authentication controls.

Practical details

What this Lucaden tool does

The pinned zxcvbn estimator recognizes dictionary words, names, dates, repeats, sequences, keyboard paths, and substitutions, then reports conservative guess counts across four attack-rate scenarios without transmitting the password.

Lucaden performs this task in the browser so the source stays under your control. The result is created only after you request it, and nothing is saved to a Lucaden account by this tool.

Included capabilities

  • Pattern-aware zxcvbn score
  • Four attack-time scenarios
  • Personal-word penalties
  • No network or breach lookup

Useful for

  • Review a newly generated password
  • Teach password hygiene
  • Check internal test credentials
  • Compare passphrase length and complexity

Questions

About this tool

Does a high score guarantee safety?

No. Reused, leaked, or predictably constructed passwords can still be unsafe. Use unique credentials and multifactor authentication.

Is the password checked against breach databases?

No. Avoiding a network request keeps the password local, but it also means this tool cannot tell whether the exact value has appeared in a breach.
